A bit more…
Thank you for taking the time to explore what I can offer. Taking any step in making decisions for health, healing, and life is different for us all. Mental health counseling is an entity unto itself; asking vulnerability, patience and faith in what is possible. I believe the therapeutic relationship is of utmost importance in the process. The intentionality in the space created to share, process, consider, pause, and breath anchors the path.
My background? Masters in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver. From this specialized starting point, my clinical practice expanded into work with children, adolescents, and adults seeking support in life transitions, grief, loss, anxiety, eating disorders, and depression.
Human centered, narrative based, cognitive behaviorally informed, dialectics, all grounded in a belief system rooted in an awareness we all have a universe inside us. Learning and understanding how we navigate the internal and external allows an expansion and integration, with new skills, perspectives and opportunities.
